Booking the room was straightforward and affordable through a third-party site, which was convenient after traveling for about 12 hours and needing a place to rest. The hotel's location is a plus, with a nearby Walmart, fast food restaurants, and easy access to food delivery services.<br/><br/>However, our experience upon arrival was less than ideal. Despite paying an extra $50 for early check-in (before 1:00 p.m.), we were initially placed in a room with a malfunctioning toilet. The hotel staff expected us to troubleshoot the issue ourselves, which was frustrating given the additional cost we had incurred for early access. After some hesitation, the staff reluctantly agreed to move us to a different room.<br/><br/>Our new room, 210, was better situated, close to the front desk and an ice machine. While the hallway was clean and the room itself fairly nice, there were a few maintenance issues, including broken cabinetry. Given the cost of the room, I expected more attention to detail. <br/>On the positive side, the room had a nice view of the pool, which was both a blessing and a curse. While it was convenient to be close to the pool, the noise from outside was disruptive, especially after our long journey when we desperately needed some quiet rest. The walls were quite thin, and we could hear every sound from the hallway and the pool area, making it difficult to nap.<br/><br/>Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects of the stay, several issues detracted from the experience. _palestinian-street-artist-taqi-spateen-creates-mural-in-glasgow.webp "A street artist travelled from Palestine to Glasgow to unveil a brand new mural inspired by his 'precious' homeland over the weekend.<br/><br/>Taqi Spateen brought his artistic talent to the city and created a large-scale mural in the east end - with its exact location on Stevenson Street near to Barrowlands Gate.<br/><br/>He collaborated with Ciaran Glöbe, one of the artists behind the fake Banksy which appeared near Buchanan Street last June, to bring his vision to life and will work with other local artists across the UK.<br/><br/>The artist is liasing with fellow creatives about the plans, both logistical and artistic, for the murals being created.<br/><br/>Graffiti art is a major cultural force in Palestine. In August 2005, UK street artist Banksy and his team painted seven large murals on a section of the 440-miles-long West Bank Wall, also referred to as the Separation Wall. Since then, the wall has gone on to become a hotspot for the graffiti scene.<br/><br/>Taqi has created many murals on the wall including 'The Boy with the Goldfish Bowl' - showing a child with what is left after the destruction of his childhood home - a series of portraits of George Floyd, and his collaboration with the brand The North Face 'Walls Are Meant For Climbing'.<br/><br/>Now creating and exhibiting internationally, he draws inspiration from the Palestinian countryside, particularly the olive tree, one of the most famous of all Palestinian symbols. His more recent paintings also include depictions of mass urbanisation and colonial settlements on his precious homeland.<br/><br/>Taqi's talent is being showcased as part of the Bethlehem Cultural Festival - set up in 2020 to put the artists, arts and culture of Palestine and Bethlehem centre stage.<br/><br/>The Festival’s creative director, Melissa Scott, says: \")

The city's location to this day ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. <br/><br/>Tbilisi's cobblestoned old town reflects a long, complicated history, with periods under Persian and Russian rule. Its diverse architecture encompasses Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate art nouveau buildings and Soviet Modernist structures. Looming over it all are Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the “Mother of Georgia.”<br/><br/>Tbilisi is known for its mild winters, with daytime temperatures very rarely dropping below 0 degrees Celsius. Snow is not as common as it was even a decade ago, most years, Tbilisi only has one or two snowy days.<br/><br/>Many tourists before visiting Tbilisi might think, when it does snow in Tbilisi? Well, it usually falls overnight. The snow melts very quickly and is often followed by rain.
