Description: This video shows you one way of proving that the centripetal acceleration acting on an object moving at constant speed, v in a circular path of radius , r is given by v/r. This is a slightly unconventional proof but my Physics teacher, Mr Ceri Evans, did it this way in 1980 and its stuck with me. This video supports learning in IB Physics, topic 2; Mechanics (FLD).
